Super high price for Juniors.

Tickets for £165! SuperJunior have announced their London tour date at Wembely Arena and tickets go on sale on Sunday. But aren’t they asking for too much?!

Although I have not figured out if there will be early entry tickets, SuperJunior of SM Entertainment are charging between £56 – £156 for tickets to there first solo concert in London.

Aren’t K-Pop artists charging way too much for their London concerts?

Although I am not a K-pop lover, I forked out £100 to see BigBang last December. Now BigBangs rivals SuperJunior are also playing Wembely Arena.

I must admit I may be slightly biased when I say this but I refuse to pay more or the same amount as my BigBang ticket, for another K-Pop group.

I recently went to see Jay Park (you can read my review here), and I paid £60 for my ticket. Although I believe this price was slightly higher than I expected, I went along as I have loved Jay Park’s music and his body for years now & he finally came to London.

Although SuperJunior are more famous than Jay Park, they should consider that this is their first solo concert in London & many of their fans here are students and teenagers.

I am aware that K-Pop has a very strong fan base and fans are willing to pay a bit extra to see their favourite artists here. But £165?! Big international stars such as Beyonce, Taylor Swift & Blink 182 haven’t ever priced their tickets that high.

As much as I’d love to see Siwon, I am not forking out that much for a group I do not listen to or know. And I don’t like seating at concerts so I won’t get the cheaper tickets.

How many of you are big fans of SuperJunior & are willing to spend that much money for them?

I like writing posts on the bus!

Goodnight from my seat on 243 on my way home!

Jay Park – First London concert

It is not often that I write a blog post straight after an event, but this is a must.

I am writing this as I sit on a 27 bus heading home after a long day of waiting to see Jay Park. All I can think of is how amazing Jay was and how much my feet hurt.

Jay turned to Twitter in the early hours of the 21st of September & mentioned that he has been ill for a few days now. I was worried that he would strain himself & not be able to perform well, but nope.

Jay was amazing! He only had one hitch up with his voice but his performance was out standing.

I’m not the biggest K-Pop fan & I guess that is why I like Jay’s music because it’s more western. From singing; to rapping; to dancing; and even taking off his shirt after I shouted it to him about 10 times, this concert was one that I probably won’t forget.

The opening act called Victor, who are a boy band which I have never heard of before were cute. They were great dancers and although you could tell they are new to the game, their excitement and eagerness showed during their performance. The Twins (both wearing hats in the picture below), although I am usually scared of twins, were outstanding dancers, so much so that I didn’t get freaked out by their resemblance. Amazing dancers.

Although the concert was short, only lasting two hours with a 30 minute interval, I enjoyed my time and am glad that Jay came to London.

Unfortunately there was not an encore, probably due to lack of enthusiasm from the audience & the fact Jay is not well.

One thing I would like to mention is that this is Invazi’s first event in London and although I am glad they made it possible for Jay to come here, it seemed a bit un-organized and you could tell it was set up by people who are new to event management.

Ways to improve would be to add one more supporting act to make the concert longer and don’t organise an after party event right after the concert. Also, Invazi were not clear on information about meet & greet winners. It would have been good to have the winners announced on the website and state if winners had to pay to go to the after party for the meet & greet.

Also while I’m at it, if I was the organiser of the after party I would make it 21+ event!

Regardless though, Jay did an amazing job and I am glad I finally got to see him perform!

Excellent performer!

I’ll definitely pay to see you again Jay! Next time will be in Korea =P

Public Transport Perverts

I hate writing negative posts but every now & again it is neccessary.

About 12:30am on Saturday morning/ Friday night, a guy touched my leg on public transport. When I say touch I mean rubbed my leg lightly. This is the 3rd time it has happened to me this month. It has also previously happened.

Why? Why do these men do this?

I know it is a small amount of guys but, what goes on in their tiny brains which makes them think it is an okay thing to do?

When I noticed this guy rubbing my leg lightly with his finger I told him not to touch me and his response was ‘Why, you don’t like it?’!!!! I was outraged and disgusted by this. Am I supposed to enjoy a strange man touching my leg?

If this has happened to me 3 times in September, how many other girls have men done this to? And it has been 3 different guys. I am disgusted by this and really think Transport for London need to do something about this form of sexual abuse. And yes, I think it is sexual abuse and an invasion of privacy and personal space.

I have always shouted at the men who have done this to me & I will shout about it and shame them so that other people will see thier faces & stay clear of them. He is lucky I didn’t hit him.

All I can say is I hope this doesn’t happen often & please be safe. This has happened to me at different times in the day so don’t think it just happens at night. I have also spoken to bus drivers about it when the offender isn’t smart enough to get off, but all they do is shrug.

If someone sits next to you and puts their hand close to your leg, be alert & if you are certain they touched you, don’t let them get away with it.

I hope TFL acknowledges my complaint about lack of security and neglect from bus drivers.
